Our specialist in European politics, Pieter has previously worked at the Duitsland Instituut in Amsterdam, where he was the organisation’s lead researcher on Germany’s role in the Eurozone crisis. He went to do the mandatory stint in Brussels, where he worked for an NGO promoting entrepreneurship and the removal of barriers to starting new businesses. Pieter holds a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University, where he specialised in EU and British politics. He also holds an MA in European Culture jointly awarded by the University of Groningen and the University of Deusto in Bilbao.



Sean graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BA in Economics and Political Science, and from University College Dublin with an MA in Economics. Previously managing editor at MoneyWeek, he is the managing editor of our Technology Profits Confidential investment service. His job is, simply, to write about the world’s most exciting investment opportunities.


David Stevenson is a leading investment expert with 35 years’ experience of the financial markets.  Having started a career in the City with Morgan Grenfell Investment Management, David joined Oppenheimer in 1983, starting as a UK fund manager before working for Hill Samuel, Cigna and IAI International and BNP Securities. He then wrote for the UK’s best-selling financial magazine, Moneyweek, before joining Agora Financial UK. For over 20 years, Tom worked as a fund manager in the City of London and in Hong Kong. During his time as a director with Schroder Investment Management International he was responsible for £2 billion of foreign clients’ money, and launched what became Argentina’s largest mutual fund. Tom now works from his home in Oxfordshire, where he researches and writes for his premium newsletter, Breakthrough Biotech Alert.


Greg Robinson

Greg Robinson is the editor of Income For Life, Agora Financial UK’s income investment newsletter. After graduating with an honours degree in Computer Science, Greg worked for many years as a freelance IT consultant, consulting for numerous banks and other blue chip companies. Throughout his career he pursued his interest in investment, including a number of property investments in the UK and abroad. However, around 2008 Greg began focusing on options and in 2010 largely retired from IT to become a full time trader. He lives in North Yorkshire with his wife and daughter and what he describes as a crazy dog. In his spare time he enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking and travelling.
